Pantry Hours:
- ~Monday – Wednesday – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- ~Thursday and Friday – 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
- ~Every Saturday – 9:00 to 12:00 (June, July, August)
If you are in need of food and clothing, please visit our pantry.
Mark your calendar for Friday, July 12th beginning at 3:00 pm and come to the Calhan Summer Fest. Our pantry will be serving a pulled pork dinner with all the sides. Location is at the Calhan Park located on 8th St. Proceeds will go to pantry to help people of our community.
Our Pantry is in need of the following:
- clothing for Newborn – 24 month old children (high need)
- spring and summer clothing
- mens’ shirts and pants
- jeans all sizes
- sweaters and jackets for adults and children
- blankets and bedding
- pots and pans
- small children toys
- canned and boxed food items
If you might have those items and would like to donate them, please drop them off during our business hours at the pantry.

We now have a van in which we ccan now use to pick up items from the various locations. Thank you to all who donated to make this become a reality. Thank you to the volunteers who so willingly provided their own vehicles to gather food and items for so many times. What a blessing you are!
Volunteers are the key to the success of the Eastern Plains Community Pantry (EPCP). You can make that real difference in helping serve the people of our community.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Our Pantry continues to serve more and more needy families. This past month we served over 1,216 people. We have 36 volunteers that donated 778.75 hours during the month of February. We picked up over 5,000 lbs. of food to help our needy families. The “Volunteers of the Quarter” are Sister Joyce and Elder Tim Williams. If you or you know of someone who would love to volunteer in any way, just drop by the pantry to let us know or call us 719-347-3062.
