Thank you to all who donated to our Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Drive, our Christmas Toy Drive and our Angel Angel Program. Because of your generous donations, we were able to make this Thanksgiving and Christmas season so much brighter.
Pantry Hours:
- ~Monday – Wednesday – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- ~Thursday and Friday – 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
If you would like to become a volunteer at the pantry, please drop by and let us know. Volunteers are the key to the success of the Eastern Plains Community Pantry (EPCP). You can make that real difference in helping serve the people of our community.
ITEMS NEEDED
The Pantry is in need of blankets and bedding, winter clothing, and coats for adults and children, We are also in need of books, and pots, pans and kitchen items. We are still looking for a used refrigerated van or small truck for help in getting food supplies to the pantry. We are in high need for clothing for Newborn to 24 month old children.
If you would like to donate, please drop them by the pantry. Small children toys are always accepted as well.

January is “International Creativity Month”, “National Soup Month” and “National Blood Donor” Month.
The Pantry Board thanks to all those wonderful people and organizations that have contributed to the operation of the Pantry. Your donations are a blessing to our community.

This past month of November, the Pantry served over 1,172 people and volunteers donated over 805 hours. If you or you know of someone who would love to volunteer, just drop by the pantry to let us know.

EPCP had a float in the “Calhan Community Christmas Parade of Lights”. The Parade was an outstanding event for our community. The Pantry Board offers a sincere “Well Done” to the Calhan Youth Education and Recreation Foundation (the Teen Center) and Program Director Kevin Acre.
